My hydrophonic recording desires have led me in North Karelia further to Patvinsuo national park. Unfortunately, not many birds could be heard, at least in the afternoon. It was 8th September, temperatures still at 25 degrees C, quite unusual in these latitudes, otherwise already awaiting the cold.
